Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is an excellent way to experience a new place. Meeting locals provides an opportunity to explore a different side of the place you're visiting. It's also an opportunity to make friends.

While this account is new for me, I am not new to Couchsurfing. I have hosted couchsurfers with my partner at our home (through his account). We have met incredible people and made new friends that I hope to stay connected to over time.

It truly is one of the best ways to travel. Couchsurfing is a beautiful community.

Interests

I have Mannnyyyyyyy interests. At the top of that list are:::
Any form of creative expression, especially visual art, performance, costume and fashion design, dance, sculpture and installation.
I have had a meditation and yoga practice for many years and enjoy deepening that practice every day.
I love being active. I love jogging and hiking, swimming in the ocean and playing soccer (although a knee injury has kept me from playing this last year).
I enjoy reading, writing and learning. I love to dive into the unknown and the cutting edge of modern thought.
I also love film and watching movies with friends.
Most of all I love to explore!!! That is why I am a couchsurfer after all.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵Music is special to me. I can find beauty in all of it. I especially love experimental, electronic and ambient music (excellent to create artworks to). Also love anything I can dance to (and I can dance to pretty much anything)
📚I love reading and learning about cutting edge science and all subjects regarding consciousness, mysticism, pre history, mythology and magic. I am also a science fiction nerd.
🎥I love any film that makes me feel inspired, magical and uplifted.... again, a science fiction nerd.

Swimming with dolphins is one of the most magical things I have ever done 🐬
