I am a 48 year old female, mother of 3 adult children with my very first grandson on the way! I work full time as a 911 dispatcher....I've been doing this for 20 years now. I love God and my family above all things, however I cuss like a sailor but mean no offense to anyone...I'm just a cusser!

I love to spend my free time watching some tv shows and movies, camping, hiking, doing crafts, making stuff with my cricut, reading, crocheting and of course traveling!

We just found out this week that my mama has advanced stage 4 bone cancer, so from here on out, all of my free time will be dedicated to helping and being with her.

I'm not a super social person. I love to have fun, but I prefer to do it in small settings with my family and closest friends. Too many people make me nervous...one of the downfalls of my job! I know that literally anything bad can happen at any moment so I'm constantly trying to prevent the bad from happening.

I have one puppy. His name is Brodi James. He is a 5 month old miniature golden doodle and he is the cutest, sweetest little guy around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I want to help make people's travel expenses less than they could be! I hope to be able to use couchsurfing myself in a couple of years and I hope that someone will be there to do the same for me. I think it will be very interesting and educational meeting people from all over the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music...honestly impossible to choose a favorite. Currently I am listening to a lot of country music because it makes me happy!

Movies....I love rom/com's, actions, thrillers, comedies, chic flicks, murder mysteries, and more!

Books...fave author is Nora Roberts but I read multiple genre's. If I could read all day every day, I would!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I delivered a footling breach baby over the phone for a woman who was in the front seat of a ford bronco sitting in a used car dealership parking lot. The baby was in cardiac arrest when born and we saved his life!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm not exactly sure what this means but I'm going to take this as they are wanting me to tell hosts things about myself, so here goes.

I'm a pretty simple person. I shower daily, I clean up after myself...even make my bed every morning. I plan to travel alone most of the time so it will be only myself couchsurfing. I am also nervous about this whole process.
