About Me

I'm 20 years old and want to study to become a social worker. I want to help refugees to get integrated in our society.
Well, for me, it's difficult to describe myself.
I'm probably not a very confident girl that says "I clearly know what i want in life". But I do know that I want to have as many experiences as I can get and travelling is the best way to do so. I'm always up to try new things in general like new food, new places, new lifestyles etc. I get excited about a lot of things very fast.
I love being outside, eighter for a run hang around with friends or just enjoy the nature. I also like camping and other outdoor activities like hiking, going out with my dog. I love to bake especially at christmas time.
Mhh what else ?
I'm open minded and talking to different people is a pleasure for me. Really, I feel like I'm unpredjudiced against anyone and love to get to know other cultures.
I'm not quite sure if I would describe myself as extroverted, because I need a lot of time just by myself, but i also like to be with people. So I don't know.
And I love long and deep conversations as much as stupid chats and little laughs.
I think a bad habits of me is that I want to see as much as I can but sometimes it's not possible. I can't plan my whole life that's what I have to learn. I am also really bad at decisions...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all to meet new people and have a stay for the night.
But also to get to know new places from a unique insider perspective, not just the touristic ones.
Nowadays everything is expensive just the human who is rich is highly regarded. I think couchsurfing is a really good network to show humanity and give people with less money a opportunity to explore nice places.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are a lot of good books I can't decide.
The style of music depend on my mood and on the situation.
I like (alternativ)/(Punk) rock music like Rise Against, Billy Talent, Blink 182, Sum 41. System of a Down and Slipknot are also not bad :D
I like french Reggae and hip hop like the Band Irie Révolté. Or german Reggae like Seeed. Sometimes I like german rap like Prinz Pi. When I go out with friends I can also dance to Pop Music, so it's really different.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Australia there are a lot of helpful people.
One time on the road I was looking a bit confused on my map and suddenly a car stops and a men asked me if I am in trouble and wants to show me the right way.
Or one time I waited on the train station and suddenly an old woman wants to give me her ticket for free.
Or when I searched an appartement an Indonesian guy offers me to stay for free on month on his couch.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you want to meet a friendly open- minded funny and honest person from another country who wants to spend a great time with you, then I will be the right I think.
We can share our experiences the bad and good ones and learn more about different cultures.
