About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to figure out what my next adventure will be..
ABOUT ME
Well, because 'humble' comes to mind, these things are hard for me.
I guess what I hope they say is that I'm easy going, and fun to be with. I am generally outgoing, and can be the centre of the party, but have my moments of being shy - I used to be very reserved when I was a kid, and it creeps back every now and again.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have tried to get involved in the CS community of each place I have lived, but haven't really had a couch to offer in a while.
Most of my CS experiences took place when I lived in Vancouver, but have surfed and hosted in other communities along the way, and look forward to meeting more awesome people in the future!
Interests
I really love outdoor sports/ activities/ adventures.
Canoeing, climbing, snowboarding, hiking, camping..
That being said, I also enjoy a quite night in on the couch with a movie, or a hilarious night out on the dance floor. I feel it's important to find and maintain a balance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some highlights.. in no particular order:
1. Moved away to live in Vancouver with the goal/ purpose of volunteering at the Olympics.
2. In the summer of 2008 one of my best friends and I rode our bikes over 200km, from Toronto to Niagara Falls, in the inaugural "Ride to Conquer Cancer". Between the two of us we raised over $5,000 for cancer research at the Princess Margaret Hospital, in memory of loved ones that we have lost. There are no words to describe the feeling of riding a bike down a back country road, exhausted because you have already been riding for a day and a half, and seeing a girl holding a sign "My parents died of cancer - Thank you".
3. Moved to the Arctic for almost 6 months. Working for an Arctic excursion company to start up day tours based in Iqaluit. It was an absolute blast. The landscape, people, and culture are unique, beautiful, and awe inspiring in so many ways.
