ABOUT ME

One of us is an intrepid traveler the other is along for the ride. Galen is a health care administrator. Jacqueline recently started working for Virgin America as a flight attendant. (Guess who's the traveler.) We tend to be unconventional, adventurous, frugal, gleaners, non-linear, liberals, who still practice the old, somewhat outdated arts of sewing, preserving food, woodworking, and marriage. We enjoy lively conversation, political debates, music, great food, good wine, and an occasional margarita. We have an awesome daughter who is now off at college studying Marine Biology.

Our interests include outdoor activities, boating, flying, travel, music, arts, reading, gardening, weird remodeling projects, good food. Jacqueline is vegetarian. Galen an omnivore.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jacqueline enjoys well written books, whatever the genre. Galen likes adventure, mystery, and historical fiction. Jacqueline tends to prefer classical music, Galen: Jazz. Movies: Galen can quote any line from just about any movie made since 1949. Jacqueline is lucky to remember she even watched it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing thing ever: we raised a kid, and she seems to have turned out to be this incredible wonderful human that amazes us every day with her awesomeness.
