Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Adapting to my new Italian life, being married, meeting people and exchanging language and experiences.
ABOUT ME
California born, migrated to Hawaii, got hitched and am now living in Rome.
A plant growing, music feeling, belly dancing, goofball. Have a deep appreciation for red wine, coffee, Billie Holiday, hide and seek, sarcasm, and anything with chocolate. I want to meet conscious people, create, love, and dive into new experiences with a smile so big, it hurts my stupid face.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe it's a persons responsibility to become what we're passionate about, and pursue it fearlessly. With as much love and abundance we can provide. Because if we're not here to love and learn each other, what else is there?
Besides pizza of course.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Had great couchsurfing experiences hopping around Europe and parts of the US.
Can't wait to host fellow traveling souls. It's just a great experience-do it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Billie Holiday, Balkan Beat Box, All Star Refugees, Tom Waits, Gipsy Kings, Echo and the Bunnymen, Radiohead, Ray Lamontagne, Etta James, Buena Vista Social Club, Feist, Iron and Wine, Jimi Hendrix, Beats Antique, Lauryn Hill, Y La Bamba, The Ruby Pines, Queens of the Stone Age, The Pixies, Fugazi, Manu Chao, Portishead, Broken Social Scene, Ween, and like way too many to list now that I've started.
I pick up random books often, read them, enjoy them, and can never recall it later. Go figure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking in the Trinity Alps of Northern California with my father was one of the most amazing experiences. It was a 10 mile climb to our camp where we snow shoed different parts of the trek and ate foraged food and caught fish for 6 days. I have never felt more alive, free, and humanly capable in my lifetime.
I can also do impressions of Christopher Walken and baby bunnies.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would really like to improve a lot my Italian and hopefully Spanish too.
And to meet some friends and active people as I have moved internationally and am adapting to everything.
Countries I’ve Visited
Ireland, Norway, Spain, United Kingdom
