About Me
CURRENT MISSION
what would you do if you knew you would succeed?
ABOUT ME
I'm a very simple person. I love meeting new people and listening to their stories, views, perspective, etc. I love it when someone can challenge my thinking. Questions are good signs because it means someone is interested in you and not afraid to ask! I like to constantly move onto a new project, location, hobby.
I am an English Language teacher in Miryang, Korea. In my spare time I like to learn about gardening, learn Spanish, make soap, surf, sleep, and watch documentaries. I'm Vietnamese-American and I love burritos, pho, and In-n-Out. I have lived on both coasts of the US, Costa Rica, Scotland, and now Korea. I did the year abroad (in Europe) at uni and met some amazing people couchsurfing and traveling. I have a wealth of knowledge of Spanish culture due to my boyfriend from Sevilla.
Wow, has couchsurfing changed in the last couple years! I'll be straightfoward, I believe Couchsurfing is best when people genuinely want to hang with a local and see a different side of the city/country they are visiting. Accommodation is just a plus! I do not support Couchsurfers who just want a night to crash/ or view it as a dating/ hookup site.
PHILOSOPHY
Nourish, embrace, and captivate the mind.
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." Mark Twain
"Once every river has been poisoned, and every tree has died, and every fish has been caught, then will man realize that we can not eat money"
