About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Slow down. Relax. Enjoy the world. Teach my children to also enjoy the world and love it.

ABOUT ME

I now travel with my husband Aurélien who is from France and our two sweet daughters, Leila, who is eight and Maiya who is five.
I love meeting people and having insightful conversations. I love learning new things.
I am adventurous and usually avoid visiting "touristic" cities, and when I do, I try to learn more about the city through its people instead of its sites.

PHILOSOPHY

Always be willing to learn and change. The moment you close your mind, you also stop living.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am thrilled to join CS and think its a better way to travel and as I begin I would like to contribute as much as possible.
I have had the wonderful opportunity to be hosted by many amazing people, and hopefully if anyone visits my little corner of the world I can do the same for them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The several years I have been lucky enough to have many couchsurfing experiences all of which were quite amazing and I met some of the greatest people that I will never forget. I have also had quite a few unofficial, where i have met people while traveling and have been invited to stay at their place. Either or I have had some amazing experiences meeting people, making friends, and getting a true experience of many places that I would not have gotten without the wonderful friends I made there. I love couchsurfing and the more I use it the more I want it to grow in the same positive direction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept on a beach in Myanmar in a part of the country not yet open to foreigners after hanging out with a government official who found us there and tried to let us know foreigners aren't allowed there. Swam with the phosphorescence, rode motorcycles past traditional villages that have never seen a foreigner and live in a way so simple yet beautiful that is rarely see any more in the world.
