About Me

I am a student, teacher and traveler from the woods of Massachusetts. For the past five years I have been living off-grid in a yurt in Massachusetts. I headed out traveling in Europe in April starting in Spain. I am mostly traveling by wwoofing and doing workaway.

I am passionate about storytelling, land connection, learning to live well with local resources, and healing people and places. When I am at home I teach wilderness awareness and ancestral skills; which includes such things at fire without matches, wild edibles, carving, camouflage, shelters, basketry, and open fire cookery.
I am committed to learning how to live in a way that adds to the land rather than only taking. For me this means knowing where and how my food came to be, reducing my perception of how much material stuff I need, and finding ways to give back whenever I can.

I have lived abroad in Iceland, Denmark, Scotland, and England where I studied Viking and Norse history and mythology.
