Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To love life, myself and all this world is...both the light and the dark.
ABOUT ME
A Down-to-earth, independent, adventurous, strong woman who has a kind and playful heart. I love learning new things and being able to contribute and participate in caring for this amazing place we call home.
(why does this feel like a personal add?)
PHILOSOPHY
We are here for a reason, yet only passing through.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
in life? Or on couch surfing?
In life I write on health, wellness and regenerative living. I teach about yoga and herbs. I sit with scholars and teachers, but know they don't have the answers. That kind of stuff comes from the inside.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to this. I've traveled all around the world Snorkeling in Belize, climbing ancient ruins in Guatamala, a year stint in Scandinavia, a 27-city tour around Europe, a summer swimming in the brilliant waters of Menorca, a 33-day hike along the Camino de Santiago, rode scooters around Italy, slept on wooden beds in Thailand, had my teeth cleaned in Costa Rica...and still waiting to get to the Ashram in India, the white beaches of Tanzania, the jungles of Peru and my ancestral homes in Russia and Ireland
Interests
I spend most my time on things related to wellness, inner transformation and regenerative living - yoga, herbs, nutrition, permacutlure, singing, writing, photography, and earth-based wisdoms. I want to be a musician and keep picking up instruments but not getting very good! I love to hike, swim, bike and explore. The world is magnificent and I need to be reminded sometimes. Travel does that best.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Mauve Series. Anything by Martine Prachtel, Lynn Andrews, Elizabeth Cunningham, Aldux Huxley, Tom Robbins, Mary Oliver, Rumi (or any other mystics),
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Some amazing things....read the entirety of "Secrets of a Talking Jaguar" to the trees, had dinner with a Prince of Uganda, held a red-tail hawk before it flew away, played my harmonium and sung to the sun to bed each night, lived in an Ashram, walked across Spain, skied 100-days in Telluride, Sailed in ILYA e-scow Nationals, built a medicinal herb garden, died and was reborn.
Teach, Learn, Share
I built a medicinal herb garden for a non-profit whose mission answers this question perfectly. They are a garden who works to feed the hunger "because we all are hungry for something and we all have something to give." I think learning and teaching work in the same manner.
