I am a professional who loves to meet new people and am always up for a good party. I have recently decided to make travelling my number one priority and thus have joined couch surfer.

I am currently planning my next trip overseas which will be to Turkey to do the 510 km Lycian way walk down the Mediterranean coast. Dates will be confirmed but planning for July 2016. It will be myself and a friend who is currently a teacher in Bangkok, Thailand. Let me know if you are keen to join.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I have already mentioned, I recently decided to make travelling my no. 1 priority. I like meeting new people and this is a great way to do so, and also discover new places to travel to.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to everything and anything as long as it is good music. My favourite is Hard Rock, Alternative, Old School Rock, Drum and Base, Dubstep and Trap. Anything I can jam my heart out to.

Books - I wish books entertained me more. I only read when I am travelling I.e. On the plane. When I do read I like your typical horrors from Dean Koontz, Steven King. recently started reading the Maze Runner series.

Movies - I love a good movie, but are willing to give anything a try. I love my horror movies, nothing like an on-the-edge-of-your-seat-suspense-horror movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Best thing I have done was to scooter from Chiang Mai to Pai on a very dangerous mountain pass, just before Songkran. Every little town we drove through, we had people throwing us with buckets of water, which was great for the heat.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - South Africa has a lot of history which can all luckily be seen in Johannesburg. From the apartheid museum to the streets of Soweto to the cradle of humankind, I am sure we will find something that interests you.

Share - I know Johannesburg quite well and can take you around town over weekends. Know the party spots the best but can do a lot more exploring

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer you time over weekends to travel around Johannesburg and see different places. I can also definitely offer you a good party. During the week might be difficult as my job keeps me quite busy. More than willing to host 7 days a week though.
