Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I'm going on a massive adventure travelling around and working in New Zealand for a year, possibly 2! I'd love to meet as many different people as possible to learn as much as I can about life in New Zealand. Using couchsurfing will help in extending my trip as long as possible with the huge benefit of meeting local people and hopefully seeing places I would never have thought to see!

Interesses

I love all things alternative like tattoos/piercings/body mods. I love reading and I'm a huge tv and movie buff. I'm a big animal lover, especially dogs. I love the outdoors but don't spend nearly enough time there. I love getting nostalgic and playing Pokemon on my Gameboy or forcing people to play board games with me at Christmas. I have a big appreciation for all kinds of art.

I have worked the past 3 years in a photography shop. I have a big passion for photography but unfortunately have never been particularly good at taking photographs. I work with Photoshop a lot for work and love being able to restore old photographs that people thought were beyond repair.

I also have an awesome and ever growing postcard collection.

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I have very eclectic taste in music. Favourites include Ben Howard, Florence and the Machine and The Jezabels, but I will listen to anything from folk to trance to hip hop depending on my mood.

I love Sci-fi movies more than any other. Also love indy films, action or comedy, or any film that makes you think 'wtf just happened?'. I'm a huuuuge TV buff and again love sci-fi but I will give any show a try.

Books wise I predominantly read Fantasy and rarely read any other genre. Brandon Sanderson is a current favourite and of course I love Harry Potter!

I want to learn as much as I can about different cultures. I want to be outdoors as much as possible and learn more about animals, plants, different places and the world around me that I have tended to ignore.
