Overview
About Me
I left Seattle in June 2017 with my partner, Brandon, to travel the world for a little while. I had grown weary of work in the corporate world, and our timing was right for a change. I'm originally from the Chicago area, and I've lived in Cambridge, Amsterdam, Chicago, and Seattle during my adult life. I love being outdoors, hiking, climbing, and exploring. I also love to cook and try new foods and dishes. Brandon and I also learned to brew beer while we were in Seattle, so I have a passion for brewing and tasting all sorts of ales and lagers. I pride myself in my curiosity around all things, and I am (almost) always up for an adventure.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling is about learning and exploring, and I prefer to do those things with the help of a local. Some of our best travel experiences have come from sitting down with a person who lives in the area and picking their brain about everything from cuisine to local politics. Having benefited from the kindness and warmth of locals, I'm also keen to return the favor and host whenever possible.

Guilty Pleasures: Adele, the latest pop sensation
I don't watch many movies, but I've seen a couple great documentaries recently: Free Solo (also Meru. Jimmy Chin is awesome), Won't You Be My Neighbor,
