About Me

I am currently trying my best to pass along some of the welcoming spirit that I got to experience in my travels. I have a love for the world and all in it! I'm a very positive person, interested in communal living, sustainability, potlucks, and campfires. I value supporting others, believe that all humans should be treated well, and love and peace are the highest values in living a good life.

If you're sending me a request, kindly: - Read our "My Home" section - Have a completed profile (having no references is ok because everyone starts somewhere)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

because you're a friend of a friend of a friend of mine.

A better understanding of history, identity, and cultural differences helps encourage a stronger sense of purpose, tolerance and cures social malnutrition.

Practicing mutuality—giving joyfully and prolifically to the whole—we can trust that it, in turn, will give to us. Each moment brims with chances to serve, connect, receive, know, and be known. To give, and be given, an ever-growing gift-flow.

I've been on CS for 13 years now. I've had great experiences and CS has added richly to my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We sailed our own boat to the Bahamas and back!

We helped to build a sustainable community of individuals who make a difference by spreading love to those in need, and worked to heal the land.

I helped to provide a sanctuary for anyone needing a place, love and more. We did our best to provide tasty nutritional staples, sleeping quarters and work on the land.

hitchhiked from New York/Tennessee to California and back more than a handful of times

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to share my advice and experiences couchsurfing, hitch-hiking, adventures in communal living, sustainability, and traveling with little or no money.

I can teach you about gardening and becoming self-sustainable in regards to growing your own food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have years of experience in delicious, simple and innovative cooking. I can also make natural homemade toothpaste, deodorant, moisturizer, bug spray, housecleaners, etc. I enjoy housekeeping, cooking, childcare, farming, crafting and writing. We can share sailing stories, communal life stories, hitch-hiking stories, or hilarious tales of life. We enjoy spending as much or as little time with our hosts as they prefer. I love gardening and if you need help I'm here for you! We like to sing and play guitar, sharing music altogether is a fav.
