ABOUT ME

I like to go, do, be.. its hard for me to relax because I just want to experience all this world has to offer. Currently, I'm getting to know Chicago, enjoying this beautiful city and all the wonderful people in it. Nursing school takes up half of my time.. and practicing yoga, biking, traveling, music, volunteering and laughing takes up the other half.
I grew up in Northern California- a goody two-shoe turned trouble maker in high school, my dad encouraged me to leave for college.. Probably regretted that decision because I've been on the go ever since! I learned how to surf while living on the beach in San Diego, advocated for and empowered young adults while working at Planned Parenthood, spent 8 weeks (and only 3 hours apart) traveling through Europe with my best friend and didn't fight once, taught 3rd and 4th graders science and english in Madrid, stood on Kjeragbolten in Norway, and now I'm just doing all that I can to decrease the social inequalities in our communities surrounding health. I'm an easy-going, progressive, open-minded woman, that loves to travel and try new things. That's my "All about me" in a nutshell.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Though I've only had a few Couchsurfing experiences I can definitely say that they've made my traveling experiences 100x better. These people not only opened their homes to me (a complete stranger), but shared their space and lives as if I'd been a friend of theirs forever. I've had great conversations and met amazing people.. and that's why I travel.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

recently spent some days on el camino de santiago, so far, the best experience of my life. i'd love to share <3 although now standing on Kjeragbolten in Norway and making house calls while volunteering in Jerusalem, Haiti both come pretty close.
