HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Even if I can't always receive and have guests, because usually I don't live alone but with roommates who also have their own word to say or because I'm also traveling myself (yes it happens ! as much as I can !), I would like to enjoy all the possibilities of CS, receive and be a guest !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been using CS since already 2 years now ! I had the chance to meet some really nice people, sometimes just for a drink, other times hosting or staying at someone's place, and at this time I can say that I've been really lucky, I really had nice experiences, always ! hopefully it will continue !

Interests

Well well well, I'm interested in cinema (I'm a movies maniac, I can watch any kind of movies !), reading, sports (I run at a high level marathon, half-marathon and 10k, cross-countries...), theater, travels (backpack, bike, road-trip) and meeting new people !

Music, Movies, and Books

Cinema : I'm a movies maniac, I can watch any kind of movies, from a very slow but intense Bergman's movie like "Autumn Sonata" to a bollywood movie like "Dostana" for example, a very funny one ! Lately 2 of the good movies that I've seen : "Black Sawn" and "Driver".
Music : many diferent kind of musics too... Xavier Rudd, Jose Gonsalez, Placebo, The Smashing Pumpkins, Ben Harper, Robbie Williams, Jason Mraz, Zenzile, Muse, Tryo, Manu Chao, Alelia Diane, Cocoon, Noir Desir, Moriarty, etc, etc, etc...
Books : difficult too... I love the James Ellroy's books, my favourite one is "The Black Dahlia" of course. At the moment I'm reading "Papillon" from Henri Charrière, fascinating !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

teaching english in Ulaanbaatar Mongolia !
traveling alone for 3 months through India !
crossing the Pyrenees mountains in France by bike !
already 4 marathons ! Berlin, Madrid, Paris and Kourou in French Guiana ! best time in 2h31'19 !
the Burning Man in 2010 ! and I'll be back this year in 2012 ! see you there ??

Teach, Learn, Share

I like foreign languages and I like to practice them and to learn some new of course. It's always a pleasure to meet people from other countries.
I would like to learn how to cook, because right now I almost never cook, maybe more through lack of time... so if you stay at my place, I will cook you some pasta, my favourite dish !
