I don’t know where the next chapter of my life will take me..but I figure until I find that out I might as well travel and explore as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Avoiding overpriced hostels and airbnbs while meeting and getting to know folx of the area I travel to! I’m phasing out of the hostel hoppin travel life and when I’m doing short stats it would be nice to have more authentic interactions during my stays.

All things wellness (fitness, naps, pleasure activism), cooking (throwing whatever food I have available in a pot, with different spices, and hoping for the best-sometimes it’s actually turns out pretty good!), spending time with friends or folx that share my interests, traveling and experiencing new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love R&B, neo soul, chicago house music, bedroom pop, funk, soul, rap, indie rock, jazz, psychedelia, some classical. Also pretty much anything alt or African diaspora inspired/produced. I’m a HUGE music nerd. I don’t travel without headphones or a speaker and play music periodically daily. Love checking out shows and receiving music recs!

Movies/Shows: hammock or couch chilling with popcorn or a snack for a good movie or show is a fave pastime. I love all things sci-fi, drama, campy, and comedy.

Books: I don’t read as much as I want but when I do it’s mostly sci-fi, and life things about queerness and blackness. So rarely anything light 😅
