I'm a curious individual who loves to see new things, learn new skills, be creative, and make new connections with people. From a young age I knew one of the best ways to do so would be to travel, so here I am (finally)! I'm an open person with an open mind and open heart.

I'm currently fulfilling this traveling ambition with my partner, Hythe (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/hythe-al-keder), throughout Europe from May until about September.

In my every day life in Vancouver, I'm a graphic designer, and before I left for travels I was also working social media. Hobbies include photography, hip hop dance, staff spinning, fitness, and I like to try anything creative –hands on, digitally, or physically. I'm ironically both a home body and love to party –one of those introvert/extrovert types, and the mood varies hehe. When I'm home I like to relax, maybe switch on some Netflix, get house chores done, work on personal projects...basically good ol' 'me' time. When I'm out I like to do the cafe thing with a friend (or not :P), wander new shops or neighbourhoods, and I like parties that involve some kind of dress-up/costume so I can get creative!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What better way to meet new friends while abroad than to spend quality time with people who would also love to meet you?! If you have pets, I would love to meet them as well –I miss having animals in my life! And when I return home, one day I hope to also be a host as wonderful as the ones we've met so far.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies/shows –I like witty humour, action, psychological thrillers, crime, historically inspire with a good story line, some anime...

Music – pretty easy, but have never gotten into Country (sorry!). Rock and metal was a big thing for me growing up and still resonates with me, more recently I've been into various subgenres of electronic: IDM, downtempo, psytrance, progressive, some glitch, (Deep) House, basically sounds that are chill and easy to groove to.

Books: honestly, I wish I read a lot more nowadays. I used to be without a book in my hands, but in my adult years my focus have shifted and I hope to use this time to pick up books again. Heck, I keep buying them :P
