Hi!
I'm 19, a student, from the UK! I'm currently studying for my BA in English Literature at the University of Oxford and I live in Oxford most of the time!

I'm a veggie (for over a year now) and I try to eat vegan as much as possible - cheese is my weakness :(
I love to cook and bake, I am (unofficially) the best blueberry muffin maker on the planet and my homemade soup can cure all your problems... probably ;)
I love animals, I have 2 cats at home and I live in a valley of about 200 sheep!
I'm also an EFL teacher (English as a foreign language) and I have taught in England and Poland. I love teaching, working with kids and helping people to improve their English! This year I'll be spending 6 weeks in Germany as an English teacher.

I love hiking and living in The Lake District (England's hiking heaven), I spend a lot of time outdoors. Although I can't host there, I would happily provide anyone with advice about where to go and what to see - I'd also love a hiking partner for a 120km trek across Scotland this summer if anyone is interested??

I have recently become interested in nature photography and bird watching and I love watching documentaries about the environment. I love to have discussions about nature, climate change, animal ethics, dreams, goals, ambitions, travel, beliefs, education, equality, food, anything really! I am open-minded, friendly, honest and kind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Curious to meet new people in new cities. Fairly new to this so I don't really know what to expect. Looking for friendly people (preferably who speak English) who want to hang out and show me new places!

I'll be spending a lot of time in Germany this summer, mostly Berlin and Thuringia. Would love to meet some locals and learn more about the culture!

Movies - silent film (the artist, nosferatu), carry on, historical epics (lawrence of arabia, ben hur, cleopatra, troy, etc.), lord of the rings, harry potter, monty python, all christmas films ever made, disney etc etc...
