Lover of life, I'm a free spirited, down to earth and fun-natured Aussie chicka. I love surrounding myself with positive people with a love of life! If we can share a laugh together then I'm happy to meet you! I spend most of my time outdoors whether surfing, hiking, exploring or just soaking up the sunshine. I also make a point of hunting out places serving fresh, local food everywhere I go. Great food makes me ridiculously happy!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've just spent two months travelling solo through the Hawaiian islands, and am now travelling along California's coastline! As mentioned above I love connecting with other happy people and couch surfing is a great opportunity to meet other likeminded people who also share a passion for exploring our world.

Interests

I'm all about taking opportunities as they arise meaning I'm all for spontaneity! Not one to plan ahead as I feel like it limits my ability to say yes to anything anytime. Split decisions in Maui found me buying a skateboard and surfboard and I'm already addicted to the surf culture. Learning to short board right now and love sharing the stoke with others who are most at home in the saltwater.

Music, Movies, and Books

Enjoy a super wide variety of music, anywhere from old school legends like Jimmy Hendrix, to Ziggy Alberts chilled acoustic, to Bob and Damien Marleys reggae tunes, some funky Fat Freddys Drop or Bootleg Rascal all the way through to Blink 182, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Glass Animals, Tiesto, Avicii and old school hip hop/rap. Pretty much so long as its not ultra country, I can feel that beat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Right now I like to travel every second year and as I go home to save more $$$ in my off year I'll smash out some university studies while I'm at it. Exploring what this world has to offer and the people and other creatures and natural beauties is where my heart lies. Right now everyday I'm pushing my limits and out of my comfort zone, always chasing to learn new skills and knowledge in whatever form that may be.
