Hello!

My name is Jade, and I'm pleased to meet you! I'm a french girl aged of 21. I'm studying Geology and Earth sciences in an engineering school north of Paris.

I am currently travelling around Europe for my gap year, all by Workaway and Couchsurfing! I will be working in sustainable and organic farms, learning about permaculture, building... in more than 10 european countries 😊 I am also collecting stories from people I meet... Can't wait to hear yours !

I grew up in an old farm in the countryside, where my family still lives. During my studies I had the chance to live some months in the USA (Nevada) and in Austria (Vienna), learning about Mountain Natural Hazards.

Friend of the nature, I love having a walk in the forest, admiring a beautiful scenery or doing sport outside. As a futur geologist, mountains have a particular signification for me. I'm also interested in and curious about a lot of other things: dance, books, photography, sciences, drawing...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travels are my passion. I love being on the road, but most of all, I love meeting people from all over of the world and discovering new places that are off the beaten path! For me, be part of the Couchsurfing experience perfectly fit with these values. As I really like travelling on my own, it is a great way to make new friends and discover another culture!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming in a hot spring in the middle of the Black Rock Desert (USA) during a geological field trip... One of the best travel experience in my life!

Passionate discussions about plenty of different subject, travels stories from USA, Haïti, Cambodia... I will also pleased to teach you French! And last but not least, we could have a french "crêpes" diner together.
