I'm Jade ! 19 years old and from New Zealand. I love to travel, it is my second year abroad and second year out of high school. I'm very friendly, sociable, easy going and love to make friends across the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people and to be able to travel and find a place to stay ! I'd love to experience the different cultures and countries in Europe. And I don't think there is a better way than to stay with locals of the country/city to learn about this.

Interests

I love to travel. I spent 8 months abroad last year.
I started my adventure by working in an American summer camp for 2 months. Then travelled to New York (typical tourist) went to Niagara Falls, Pittsburgh, Chicago and Washington, D.C.
Travelling up the west and down the east coast in Mexico (there is an island off Cancun called Isla mujeres, if you go to Mexico, go here. It is paradise) and then working in orphanage for 6 weeks in Tapachula.
Travelling through Guatemala, went to a place called Antigua, and lake atitlan, both very beautiful places.
Then to Costa Rica ! Went hiking up and swam in a volcano crater, learnt to surf.
And finally made it to Brazil.

This year I have begun in Italy and plan to travel a good portion of Europe. (Uk, Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain, possibly to Morocco aswell)

I enjoy photography very much, spending time out doors from hiking to swimming or just tanning in the sun.

I love to meet new people, hear their stories and to experience their culture and way of life. I find accents are very amusing and interesting, especially since a lot of people find the New Zealand accent hard to understand.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music, from the latest songs, to throw backs from the 80's to Latin songs that I have no clue what they are saying.

Same goes with movies and books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving ! If you have never don't it, I highly recommend !

Zip lining through one of the biggest canyons in the world. (Copper canyon in Mexico)

Scuba diving in Cozumel, Mexico. Where we saw sea turtles. So cool.

Come to New Zealand or just message me and I can tell and show you about the best places to go to. What's worth seeing and what's not, wether it's worth going to that touristy area or off the beaten track. I can tell you that you won't be disappointed if you ever come.
