Hi! I'm Jade. I was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. I am now based in Guildford, Surrey, UK.

As a bilingual speaker, I am capable of effective communication between Mandarin and English. With an open mindset, I am happy to cooperate with people from different backgrounds.

I have been making photographs. It is my sole purpose to document life as I experience it.

That can be in the form of documenting the intimacy of my complex relationship with the family. Or it could also be my personal work in street photography and landscapes as I enjoy solo backpacking very much. I have solo backpacked to Barcelona, Budapest, and Vienna this year. Am very excited about new adventures! For me, photography has developed a way of communicating, and travelling is the way my curiosity arouses new insight into life.

PS. when I'm at school, if I'm not sleeping, doing work, or photographing, you can always find me hitting the badminton court!

In terms of movies, I enjoy 'Once' very much. Would say it's my all-time fav. It's a 2007 Irish romantic musical drama film written and directed by John Carney. John Carney is one of my fav filmmaker, I'm so obsessed with his 'Sing Street'.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I wouldn't say this is an amazing thing that I've done but people usually find it amazing. Which is I went to do volunteering in Cambodia in 2017. It was defo a sight-opening experience for me and inspired my ambition to help more people on earth with my capacity.
