ABOUT ME

I've escaped from the shackles of art school, and ready to learn all I can from the world. I want to make lots of art along the way! I love video art and street art. The cinema is where I hide alot during the week. I crave chesse and red wine. Back home in Newtown my friends and I run a Chess Club. Chess is a passion, and so to is Marcel Duchamp! I love going to free warehouse parties, and dinner parties. Communal festivals. I love sneaky little communities and cultures which exist under the radar. Squats, renegade festivals, doofs, clubs, collectives, revolutionists, hippies, carnies, artists, subversive writers, anarchists, free thinkers. I think there is room for brief utopias in this world, and i want to meet all those who nurture them.

I wish more men and women would dress like they did in the 1920s. I love the markets and wasteing entire days in cafes with friends and making new ones. I love getting involved with art collectives, learning and being inspired by oneanother. I love my bike, taking photos and drawing with pens.

PHILOSOPHY

I looooovvveee the Do It Yourself aesthetic. Being able to bypass all the crap, and make things happen on your terms, when you're ready, and when your ideals are being put into practice. Who cares what other people think you should do. Deep down we all know what's right for ourselves.

I'm pretty new to CS. I am just about to start traveling so I don't have a couch to offer or any references. Although, when I get settled in Berlin I will be able to offer a space to all you beautiful people.

Film! Film! Film! Ahhhh this is going to take too long. I love everything to do with the arts. I think it's the only pure medium we have left. It's the shit! It's all that makes sense to me. Unfourtunately industry peeks its ugly little head in, and convinces us we need it.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I LOVE FILM!!! I love it! I worked in an independant cinema for 2 years, and I was able to spend entire days watching all the films. Some of my favourite directors are; Luis Bunel, The Coen Brothers, Woody Allen, Julian Schnabel, Federico Felini, Fatih Akin, Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck <--- now that's a name! The list goes on and on.

At the moment I am craving learning about new and exciting DUBSTEP DJs if anyone can introduce me to some I will be forever in your debt. I prefer electronic music, Bjork, Coco Rosie, AIR, but can also never go past the old favs like Johnny Cash, Billie Holiday, Howling Wolf etc etc

BOOKS!!! Books are all we have. I appreciate reading more than anything. When I was at University the stupid institution dug a hole, and buried a ton of books because apparently there was no room or staff to catergorize them. I thought this a mortal sin! So I burnt down the library...hahaha just kidding, but seriously how ridiculous? That's UWS for you!
I love to learn about history, sociology, and philosphy, so I read mostly non fiction. My all time favourite fiction writer is John Irving.
