ABOUT ME

Well, I just started working as a Bilingual Patient Advocate, and I work as a server on the side. I have most of a degree in Spanish with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. I love learning and experiencing life, especially immersing myself in culture and languages different than my own and getting to know people from all walks of life.

Acabo de empezar a trabajar como 'defensor del paciente' bilingual. Fue una estudiante en una universidad en los Estados Unidos donde estudié español y chino. Me encanta aprender idiomas, aprender sobre culturas diferentes, y discutir idiomas, ideas, y la vida en general.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new people from all over the world, and enhance my (and hopefully others') traveling experiences by spending time and exchanging ideas with fellow Couchsurfers.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I have way too many favorites to list - but I absolutely love music, I very much enjoy a variety of books, and I tend to prefer television series to movies, but I actually really haven't seen as many movies as the average Joe.

Tengo demasiados favoritos - no tengo el espacio de describir todos. Pero en breve, me gusta mucha una variedad de libros y prefiero los series del tv más que muchas peliculas. Pero, hay que decir que no he visto tantas peliculas como muchos de los demás.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I spent a summer helping teach English to kindergartners at a bilingual school. It was amazing, and I accompanied the older kids on a three-day trip to the Andes mountains, where I learned to ski with them!

Vivía en Chile por un verano enseñando a niños en un colegio bilingüal. Fue fantasico, y fui a los Andes por tres días con estudiantes mayores donde aprendímos a esquiar!

I'm definitely willing to teach or help people practice English, or the Spanish or Chinese that I know! I could also teach the basics of several instruments, and about the culture of Midwestern U.S.A.

I'd love to learn and practice more languages, learn about culture, and learn to dance.

Yo podría ayudarte a aprender ingles - o solamente ayudarte a practicarlo. Y si quieras, puedo enseñarte un poco de chino. Quiero practicar mi español y chino, y quiero aprender el frances, el portugues, y Aleman - así, si hablas una de estas idiomas, me encantaría conocerte! (Y también si no hables estas idiomas - también quiero aprender de culturas, y como bailar.)
