About Me
CURRENT MISSION
kindness with an open heart, always.
ABOUT ME
Just finished hiking the Appalachian Trail with my partner Decatur and looking forward to every moment the next journey has to offer.
PHILOSOPHY
This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness. – Dalai Lama

Music, Movies, and Books
Most anything sans scary movies (I am just the worst to watch these with and I know it), I do love a good ole sappy romantic comedy and documentaries are a staple.
Music is in my soul and I am open to experience anything sent my way. A current playlist may include: Bon Iver, The Be Good Tanyas, Great Lake Swimmers, Death Cab for Cutie, Typhoon, Coyote Grace, The Beatles, Langhorne Slim and the epic Ani DiFranco.
Nonfiction are my favorite and a few recent highly recommended reads are: A Fine Balance by Rohinton Mistry, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down by Anne Fadiman and anything David Sedaris.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked 2,186 miles from Maine to Georgia in 5 months.

I have many web development skills and can also make a mean vegan biscuits and gravy.
