CURRENT MISSION
Bicycle-powered everything.
ABOUT ME
I can't eat meat. In grade 7, my science teacher convinced me that pigs were genetically modified with human DNA. I've been a traumatized vegetarian ever since.

Music, Movies, and Books
Since starting graduate school, the peer-reviewed journal article has become my only companion. I've forgotten what the joy of reading fiction feels like, but I know it used to feel a lot like Kurt Vonnegut and Michael Ondaatje.
The last film to make me cry? Beasts of the Southern Wild. Last record purchased? Inflatable Boy Clams.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking to Monrovia on the back of an okada.
Teach, Learn, Share
Sometimes I teach pottery, darkroom photography, and stop-motion animation. I'd like to learn how to code.
Countries I’ve Visited
