I hail from the land of the long white cloud, New Zealand. I studied marine biology. And since, I've been drawn to the simplicity that presents itself when travelling.

I was fortunate enough to guide tourists swimming with Humpback whales in Tonga for half a season. I then refunded my return airfare and sailed back home to New Zealand.

Another adventure enticed us to sail the unforgiving Indian Ocean from Australia to South Africa. This then lead to driving 30,000kms through Africa and onto Europe by motorcycle. That, was amazing!
