I'm Jade, I'm 28 and I've just finished my medical degree! I guess that makes me a doctor now but that's a bit scary... I've lived in Manchester for 28 and a bit years and used to work in hospitality (hotels, restaurants, bars) so know the city really well.

That boy on the picture is Raph, he lives here too - he's also a medic and is 31. He is from London so doesn't really know what he's doing up north but he tries. He speaks French which might be useful to know!

We have both travelled a lot and like to get to know towns and cities via locals. We enjoy food (I'm veggie- raphs not) and love a good night out.

We have very differing tastes in music - I like rock, raph prefers reggae/hip-hop... but we're both pretty chilled about it once we've had a beer or 3.

We also really love Game of Thrones and are ensuring that we don't miss it even when travelling!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love Manchester and any opportunity to show people around. LOVE meeting new people and am planning on doing some travelling at the end of my degree so would love some people in the US to meet up with/ cadge a couch from!
