ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in China until the age of 13, when my parents had made the decision to send me off to the tropical island nation Singapore to continue my secondary school education for nearly 5 years. It was the time of my life where I was first exposed to a world of where the west and orient blend in one melting pot, it opened my eyes and intrigued my curiosity to further explore amazing wonders of the world.
After I had finished my education in Singapore, I'd always known I'd be moving on to another part of the world to continue my study as I broaden my horizon. Therefore, I chose to go to college in Washington state of the U.S, an incredible place on Earth situated at the Pacific Northwest, where I essentially began to nurture a love for the nature from embracing the rain to hiking the mountains! It since then made my eager to discovering more of the world become unstoppable, and I have been blessed to have visited so many places unique in their own ways and made friends with from, the luck has always been with me I suppose. :D
I've also been very fortunate to take what the college had to offer by doing study abroad programs respectively in Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. Interestingly, I've always found myself learning better and more beyond the academic level/ outside the classrooms.

I'm based in Chicago after studying Visual Communication at School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Last months of 2017 Hitchhiked from Oslo across 🇳🇴 to my dream destination Lofoten, then onwards to northernmost point of Europe - Cape North, followed by easternmost point of Norway and its border with Russia. Then down south thru 🇫🇮， over to 🇸🇪 along its east coast to Stockholm, and back to Oslo.
🇺🇸 - Summer 2017 I just hitchhiked from Illinois across 7 states to have made it 2 hours before my friend's wedding in Washington state.
🇨🇦 - Summer 2016 - hitchhiked from east coast of Canada to the west coast.
🇨🇦 - Oct 10th - Oct 15th 2014: Found the cheapest ticket to be from Edmonton to Reykjavik, Iceland, in order to save a connecting flight, I hitchhiked 844miles in total of 12 rides, all the way from Vancouver, BC to Edmonton, Alberta, caught my flight just in time after being amazed by the Canadian Rockies and the Canadian hospitality/generosity along this journey.

🇪🇺Did couchsurfing through 16 countries, 35 cities in 34 days in summer 2012.
