About Me
Hello everyone,
my name is Jae-Hwan Ryu and you guys can call me Jason(my English name).
I'm 22 years old and I live in Bundang, Korea. I grew up internationally so i get used to foreign region and people easily. I lived in Perth, Australia for 2 years during my elementary period and 5 years in Frankfurt, Germany during my teenage. I'm still learning German, because I went to international school in Germany, and I was busy to follow up English lectures.(I'm planning to travel Germany for 3 months and learn more about Germany.
I really like meeting new people and I love extreme sports that thrills me. I also like to play LOL ^_^ I am more like a country style, rather than city style. I love nature and like to go picnic.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm couchsurfing because I would like to make local friends and learn their culture. It would be really bored just to sight see and take pictures when I travle alone. Also I believe that personal network is the most important thing in our lives. As the world became globalized, I would like to make many foreign countries' friends!
Interests
First of all, I really like enjoying good food and drink! I must try well known local product :) Although I am not a good cook, I like cooking dishes. I like playing most of sports such as tennis, basketball and so on. I'm also interested in histories and legends. I like traveling a lot and I enjoy watching Japanese anime.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music type is J-Pop and I usually hear fast tempo music. In movie genre, I like blockbuster action movies! lol~ I like books about economy, history, management and mysteries.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've volunteered quite a long period of time in "Woljungsa Templestay." Many people who wants to experience temple life, or ones who have serious conflicts and wants inner peace joins the temple-stay. I volunteered there and helped to run the program and teach some basic temple manners. It was really a great experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, its hard for me to teach something, because I haven't experienced many things yet. Maybe i can teach you some Korean words :D I would like to learn surfing if possible. Also, I'm very interested in learning horse ride.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my experiences. Also, when ever you guys come to South Korea, I strongly recommend to experience 'temple-stay.'
