ABOUT ME

I live in Canada BC, but I was born in Korea

on the quiet side, easy going, INFP

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to 35 countries before. I visited 27 countries in 1 year. I did some things like studying Spanish for 5 months in Guatemala, visited Tibet, have been to most countries in South America and Asia. I am Korean and sometimes when I visited a country in South America, I had been called chino . Korean people hate being called Chino, Chinese, etc. I would like to visit a country where people are more considerate of diffrent ethnicity and respectful of other culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My plan is to move/travel around again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I don't remember being awestruck. But one thing I learned about is that I like moving around. Even if I don't do much, I like to visit another country and walk around to see the street/buildings and watch people.

I did surf for the first time in Bali, Indonesia and went to Mountain Everest Base Camp. I saw the mountain with my own eyes, but there was a ride that took about 15 minutes to get there and I remember being on the bus the most.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sometimes people ask me of all the countries I have been to where did I like the most. Truthfully I haven't found one. I tell them it depends on what you want to do with your life. If you want to surf, go to Bali, Indonesia. If you want to sit by the beach and do nothing, go to Thailand. If you want to learn Spanish go to Central America or South America. I am a bit on the quiet side so I prefer to meet someone one on one rather than dealing with more than 2 people at once.
