I've worked as an assistant of director or screenwriter in Korean commercial film industry for years. And as an independent filmmaker, .so far I made several films. My feature documentary was released at movie cinema in spring 2014. In 2018, I made VR shot movie of KOFIC (Korean Film Council) and I worked with jazz musician duo from Le union lsland for making a music video. During past five years, as a writer I published two books and now I've been writing a new book as well. Making a movie is fantastic and exciting world but it's not easy to make it work. Life is always moving on until we die and so life is like a film.I do love my job. That's a heart of my life and passion.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like sharing what I like with other people in kind of passionate way so that is me, doing this job, making a movie, writing a book. Jaehee being Jaehee. And not many people get the opportunity to do a job where they can be themselves all the time. So thinking about our life plan whatever, I can look back and see there was a plan all the way long. I'd like to be a storyteller and I think I am. I'm very interested in life, and story cos everyone has their own story. I feel more strongly share and learn our world from life and people.
How much you like explore the culture, there is always more to explore, and that kind of makes me inspire me to like keep pushing in little by little, try more things. I think by doing that, not only do I feel more comfortable with new culture and I don't see like this distance between me and new culture. Thant's really interesting kind of emotional journey to be on as well. That is all I know: teach and learn and share with people on traveling , keep eyes open, open mind. That's it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Even though there's like a language barrier, even though we're completely different cultures,
we have some things in common and we can work from there. This is meaningful somehow, it is like being able to bridge culture that don't necessarily normally come together, share life, learn experiences and like culture.
Thant's why I feel movie and travel and couchsurfing are not different.
