About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To hear the most outlandish music and taste anything I can get my hands on!

ABOUT ME

I'm a easy-going friendly guy who enjoys life. I love having adventures and exploring new things.

PHILOSOPHY

That everything will work out if you take it in your stride.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My participation in SC has been quite limited, I'm hoping to expand my experience when I am in Europe this time. All going well I'll actually be able to be a host when I get back to Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very limited within this system, BUT I have sat on many couches.

Interests

Possibly my major interest is in sustainability. I am passionate about creating community in the area I live, but more so I am into anything environmental. I am an avid gardener and into urban agriculture. I also love green-tech and innovation. Beyond environmentalism my other main interest is music. I dislike the question "What sort of music do you listen to?" because as long as I like it I'll listen to it. To go with the music I love to dance, I'm terrible but that's no reason not to have fun. I play Trombone (don't worry though it's not travelling with me) and I love to sing. I grew up around millions of books and so when I stop moving it is normally because I have my nose in a book. Food, adventuring and camping all figure highly in my interests.

Music, Movies, and Books

There are too many. However if you haven't read Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome then you need to. There is nothing better then 1930's childrens holiday boating adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went Tabogganing on an active Volcano (sounds way more hardcore then it really was).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always looking to learn things but in the way of teaching, I can make a mean lentil pie and am happy to divulge the recipe. Or if anyone wants to learn to read sheet music...

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, China, Italy, Mexico, United States
