Overview
About Me
So, here's a Korean guy living in Playa, raised in Merida, and educated in the US.
I spend my mornings working and my afternoons building the life I want. I love a good conversation walking down the beach. I'll occasionally go out and build a piece of furniture out of some local hardwood.
IF you want to stay with me you have to be down to any and/or all of the following:
- Bongo nights on the beach
- Scuba diving
- Snorkeling
- Teaching me to surf if you're into that (and if the weather allows)
- Waking up to see the sunrise (preferably done while blazed)
- Striking conversations with random travelers on the street
- Having fun in general
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm very passionate about learning. I believe in a higher purpose, but for whatever reason, I think I can enjoy the road more by meeting people with drastically different backgrounds from my own and learn from everyone and everything.
BTW, PLEASE let me know if you're a nightlife kinda person so I can mentally prepare for sleep deprivation and I can properly host you.

Teach, Learn, Share
Sharing is the door to abundance.
Share and you teach. When you share, it comes back around and when it does... You learn... Just keep the wheel spinning and be happy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A bigass Couch that will hug you while you sleep. No, literally, it will melt your problems away while you sleep and you will wake up feeling the peace of a Tibetan Buddhist monk.
I promise you, you will cry and shout when you have to leave and say goodbye to the couch.
It's not important but I'll leave this here:
WiFi
Hot water
Lot's of conversation (I enjoy both talking and silence. It's weird I know.)
Super quick (2 minutes) access to all night clubs/public trans/beach/shopping (yeah, I live right in the heart of Playa. yay me, and whoever stays on ma couch)
Bad TV
Badass balcony with a fun view (it ain't ocean view. msg me for a detailed description of "fun")
