I'm from basically the middle of nowhere. Grew up in a lovely town of 1000 people where my graduating high school class was 20 and moved to Boulder, Colorado to study engineering! I'm in my 4th year at the University of Colorado, so I'm very busy with school at the moment. But I also barback and shuck oysters at a restaurant downtown as well as conduct Biophysics research at the University. I grew up with 3 siblings that all live in the Front Range area of Colorado. So basically I'm all about my family, my friends, and my education.

I'm always looking for an adventure, whether that's exploring a new place, eating something unusual, or meeting new people. There's over 7 billion people out there and they all know things that I don't, so I'd love to learn from them and teach them the things I know.

I don't really have a favorite type of music. I pretty much like all kinds, but I'm not super into heavy metal or rap as much. Though I do like the remixes that people have done with Biggie's stuff.

My favorite books are The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. Both about adventure. But I love The Alchemist for the thought of finding one's own personal legend. And I love The Hobbit for the thought that anyone can be a hero. It just takes a little courage and a push to get out of your comfort zone.

My favorite movies have to be Pixar movies. They're the best, especially Toy Story and Inside Out. I also love the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Fight Club, and anything Quentin Tarantino.

I once circumnavigated the globe. I had the honor to study abroad on a program where I visited 13 countries in 4 months. Through my voyage I met some of the most amazing people in each country that inspired me to be open to new thoughts and to always have hope for a better world. Furthermore, it has pushed me to meet new people and travel to new places: I'll forever have the travel bug.
