ABOUT ME

I am a student of the University of California, San Diego but I am currently studying in Granada. I grew up in Los Angeles California but my family is originally from El Salvador. I have been traveling to El Salvador since I was a baby but it wasn't until I was 15 that I realized the situation that my family's country is in. After that visit I grew an intense curiosity to see how others lived and to learn about as many different cultures as possible. My desire is to visit countries of course to have fun but more importantly to meet new and interesting people. Every experience is not only what you make it but more importantly who you share it with. Every place I have visited has been great but the friends I have made along the way are truly what make the experience.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to treat others how you would like to be treated. I practice this in every aspect of my life without even meaning to. I try to be very aware of how others may feel so I'm nice to everyone regardless of how they look or of what others may say about them.
Another important philosophy of mine is to experience living in different conditions in order to better understand people.

My favorite genre is romantic comedies.. haha stereotypical, but I enjoy almost all movies, except horror because I get scared really easily. Some of my favorite movies are Dangerous Beauty, Becoming Jane the Usual Suspects, Transformers, American History X, American Me. I also watch a lot of Hindi movies.. some of my favorites are Humraaz, Lagaan, and Devdas.
