Hey!:) My name is Jagoda (or Jago if that’s easier to remember) and for the last 9 months I’ve been doing my erasmus in Cádiz and traveling around Spain, especially in Andalucia.

I’m really hate making these kinds of profiles so I’m sorry if it’s boring. In real life I’m definitely more entertaining than this, I promise.
I would say I’m a pretty calm person (at least I think so, maybe my friends would have a different opinion about that). I am super friendly and love meeting new people but I also cherish the time I spend with myself (traveling alone is my next goal actually)
I really enjoy reading and spending time outdoors, going on walks, trying different sports, camping or hiking. Just exploring - the nature as well as culture.

I am fluent in English and my Spanish is getting better every day. At this point I can definitely have a conversation that goes beyond talking about where I’m from or my family😆
I’ve done a gap year after highschool so I’ve also spent a few months in Portugal, traveling and working as a volunteer in a hostel.
During that time I absolutely fell in love with traveling and staying in hostels, where I’ve met an incredible amount of super interesting and inspiring people from all over the world and made some really good friends.

For the next one or two months I will be traveling again and I want to try something new and that is couchsurfing. I’ve been here since 2019 but I never had any succes finding a host or hosting but I think my idea of how the app works was a bit wrong back then. Hopefully this time it’ll be an amazing experience.

Unfortunately untill September/October I won’t be able to host people myself since I will be traveling but I hope I can return the favour after that 😎

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my everyday life it’s hard to meet new people and I want to put myself more out there. Especially when I go back to Poland in September I think it would be cool to host, since I won’t have a lot of opportunities to hang out with people from different countries. At least not as much as in Spain.

I don’t really have one favourite genre of music, I just listed to what I like at the moment (today I recommend The Swimming Song by Loudon Wainwright)
Same with movies, although I prefer watching tv serier or juzt reading. When it comes to books I’ve been obsessed with fantasy and fantasy novels for the last 2 years.
