I am from Poland but living at the moment with my Australian Husband in Melbourne.
It looks like I have a nomads blood and I have to travel. From the communist Poland wasn't possible to travel, so I escaped to Germany to West Berlin (you remember the part of Berlin which was behind the wall).
After 9 years when Poland threw off communism I when back there and started a job as tour guide taking Polish tourist wherever in the world, mostly to African countries. I travelled to around 100 countries.
Very important: I have two adult children who are enjoying the world as well.
I have been Servas (what is a little bit similar to Couchsurfing) member for more than 30 years.
