I like getting down and dirty with locals when I travel, I enjoy going to markets very, very much... the sights, sounds and smell is my dose of local everyday life, I like supporting local trade and crafts esp. handmade goods, I love subcultures, countercultures, parks and squares, street food and learning about social movements. I prefer secondhand clothing and love experimenting with make-up and hair. I love punk bands and punk gigs. Frida Kahlo's my fav artist and I'm a fan of George Carlin, Neil Degrasse Tyson, dystopian movies/books/tv series.

I'm a documentary buff. Some of my favourite documentaries - How To Bring Down A Dictator, Lake of Fire, Man on Wire, Jesus Camp, Blackfish, Inside Job, Jalanan, Five Broken Cameras, The Shock Doctrine, The Take, The Gate of Heavenly Peace, Fahrenheit 9/11 and many many more.

Favourite directors: Zhang Yimou, Wong Kar Wai, Akira Kurosawa, Tarantino, Hitchcock, Tim Burton, Jean Pierre Jeunet, Wes Anderson. I also like watching Spongebob Squarepants.

The Little Prince is probably my favourite book, ever. Buy me Little Prince in your language!
