ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jahan!
I am an easygoing, calm but adventurous individual from a ethnically diverse family. Because of this, I get along very well with others and respect the immense variety of lifestyles and opinions that people possess. My character is quite flexible -a lot of close friends know me as the silly and crazily adventurous person, yet my platonic relationships are often also emotionally close and personal and, around big crowds, I can often end up being quiet. I always appreciate a good philosophical chat, always always! Hearing about the quirks and experiences of others -taking a small peek into people's lives- is great fun, too.

PHILOSOPHY

Being non-religious from a religiously diverse family (agnostics raised Christian and Muslim), I've come to be a very introspective and reflective person. Basically, this has resulted in an approach to life that focuses on bettering and exploring the self, finding fulfillment without sacrificing my identity, but rather growing to become fulfilled. I always seek to make myself more aware of who I am and learn from all the interactions that I have. Anything that I can do to make myself or my interactions with others better, I strive for. I'd love to talk about it all more, so just ask!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfing for now, but once I move into a more spacious place I would love to host. I'm also happy to show other surfers around the city!

Philosophy- I love hearing what makes people tick. I'm never the kind to spur a heated debate, but I definitely enjoy finding out about others' ways of living.
Dance -(all casual, don't know any schools of dance, but I can be that one guy on the dance floor -really love me some music)
Art -raised in an art friendly atmosphere, so i like practically anything and everything

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I enjoy nature so so much, and my memory is quite terrible, so I'm absolutely astounded every time I go on a late night walk and a sunrise begins. Each time i always find a nice place to settle and just watch the sky and clouds, their purples, reds, and oranges. A little part of me lights up, no matter how long it has been.
