ABOUT ME

Ok, I feel like I have to keep changing this section over and over due to my moving so frequently. Currently, I reside in Cheshire CT and I work at an Orthopedic medical center in New Britain. I'm new to the area so my recommendations may be few but I would love to meet up with traveling surfers if they have the time. I consider myself really laid back and open minded. My favorite thing to do is laugh, the cornier the joke the better in my book.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to be happy in life and surround myself with those who feel the same. I don't care if I have known you all my life or for one night, I will go out of my way to cheer you up if your down.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try my best to take people around who visit the city I am currently living in, but haven't been able to host officially.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met the most wonderful people through couchsurfing. My experince so far has been amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better way to travel and meet people.

Interests

In a broad sense: Family, traveling, sports, food, music, reading.

More specific:

Sports: I love soccer, football and baseball but mostly soccer. Arsenal, Barca and Bayern Munich are my oversees favs but I love watching MLS too. However, my favorite sports team of all time is the Green Bay Packers. It's in my blood and Lambeau is a place where dreams come true.

Music: I love concerts.. I will go see anyone (I love new groups that I have never heard of) and I will drop everything at a moments notice if someone I know is doing a set near by. I guess I lean towards alternative/indie rock but I like pretty much any music.

Food: What don't I like about food.. I love to cook it, I love to eat it, and I love to try new and interesting dishes...

Travel: You say where and when and I will say see you there.

Movies: I like all movies. They are entertaining and give me a break from life. I will have to credit fellow couch surfer Zak for turning me on to Wes Anderson and The Coen Bros, though.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived next to an active volcano in Mexico which was pretty sweet (and by sweet I mean scary).. Also, white water rafted and zip lined my way through the Chilean jungle

Teach, Learn, Share

I make a mean shrimp taco, if you want to learn how to eat something really tasty.. I love learning new languages and could sure use a snowboarding instructor.
