ABOUT ME

*Lively and enthusiastic all the time, quiet and tender if you look closer.

*I believe that "to err is human, to forgive, divine (Emerson)" and "What cannot kill you will make you stronger."

PHILOSOPHY

*My friend called me "a positive pessimist" and I cannot deny it. I love life, but at the same time, I know that many things cannot be controlled by us. I believe that we are destined to meet some people, while miss others.

*I have some dreams. First, travelling around the world till I cannot walk; Second, writing what I want till I cannot write; Third, helping people who are in need till I leave the world.

*I love my parents, but I want to travel as much as I can when they are still healthy. Now I am trying to spend more time with them in the weekends.

*I cherish my real friends. I like listening to their problem and offering my solution.

*I am quite persistent, or you can say a little stubborn.XD I will never be bothered by trivial things in life, but I will stick to what I really want.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

*Surfing*
When I went to Britain by myself in the winter of last year, I surfed in Bath, Leeds and Newcastle.
In April last year, I surfed in Nanjing, Suzhou, Shanghai and Hangzhou.
In October last year, my boyfriend and I surfed in Xi'an and Yinchuan.

*Hosting*
Back in China, I have hosted one Hong Kong friend and one Shanxi friend in March and a surfer from Shenyang in April, also a girl from Ningbo.

*Tour Guide*
I have been the tour guide for my friends from South Korea, Nepal, Pakistan and American and showed them around in Tianjin where I have lived for 18 years and also Beijing where I have just finished my undergraduate study and started my work.

Music, Movies, and Books

*My favorite pop star is Jay Chou, a very famous Chinese male singer. I began to listen to his songs back in 2004. His songs combine the traditional Chinese tunes with popular Western music style. I really recommend you his songs.

*Recently, I was listening to a lot of rock music recently.

*I am fascinated with Virginia Woolf, although I cannot understand her most of the time. Some people think she's crazy. Well, maybe that's right, but she makes me calm down. Just loving her.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled to 30 out of 34 provinces in China and I have traveled in Britain by my self, but the most amazing thing I have done is that I walked for 3 days, more than 120 km, from Beijing to Tianjin in June 2012.

Teach, Learn, Share

*I have taught some people English, and English literature was my major, but I still need to improve myself.
*I have learnt how to cook from my father, but I don't have much chance to practice it since I'm living in school.
*I love sharing my experience with my friends through chatting and words!
