Hi! I'm Jaime, and very new to couchsurfing. Currently, I'm working at a camp in the United States via Camp America, and I'm hoping to get some awesome hosts for when my friend and I go over to Europe.

I got told about couch surfing when I was buying some US currency back home. It was exactly the kind of thing my friend and I needed. Not having to pay buckets for accommodation, making friends with locals and I just hope I can gain some awesome experiences

MUSIC
I live with my Ipod. I'll listen to whatever is playing on the radio usually, so I get a lot of pop into my system, but I also love my dad's old music (Meatloaf, Phil Collins), RnB, classic 80's and 90's music.... The only thing I can't really stomach is a terrible singer.

MOVIES AND TV
So much. Too much. I want to get into the industry, so I'm constantly watching stuff. My favourites for movies would be the likes of Disney and Pixar, but also Grand Budapest Hotel, Hunger Games, Lucky Number Slevin, Sound of Music? I can't even pick. TV- HUGELY into my fandoms. Supernatural, Doctor Who, Sherlock, (currently reading Game of Thrones, intend to watch it soon) Sword Art Online....

BOOKS
Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, LOVE the skinjacker series by Neal Shusterman, love John Green, Hunger Games again, The Host...

WELL my two friends right next to me said meeting them, which I guess I can incorporate into coming to America for camp :) They are pretty great. I went to France when I was 16 and I can't wait to return. I've made a short film officially, and a couple guerrilla style.

Um... I love sharing about my NZ culture, the weird things we say. Apart from my knowledge around film, at least in America my culture has been the most amusing thing to others. Guess I'm just weird.
