Overview
About Me
I've always liked the idea of traveling but never thought I had the means to do it "right." Thought everything needed to be planned, from finding the "right" travel buddy, to finding the "right" hotel, or "right" activities to make my trip a success. But I've realized that the best vacations/getaways, at least for me, are always the ones that are not planned.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy meeting people from different parts of the world and see how they live, communicate, interact, etc. I want to explore, learn new languages, cultures, and other social behaviors.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I listen to a little bit of everything, depending on what mood I'm in. I grew up on R&B and Hip Hop, but have transitioned to alternative, classic rock, some indie, and country. I like it all. Anytime I hear an old hit, I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing when I heard it for the first time. Movies: I love ridiculously stupid inappropriate comedy, but am down for a good action movie or thriller.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Zip lining in Costa Rica in beautiful lush surroundings and learning after the fact, a viper snake was hanging off a tree branch over one of the lines i was on. It was pretty gnarly.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can cook but rarely do it. I'd like to think of myself as a giver, rather than a taker. However, there are few instances I don't like sharing - like food, for example. If what I have on my plate is scrumptious and I don't offer, its mine so don’t reach over and taste my food. I’d rather offer to buy you your own dish. I'm a big foodie so tasting everything at least once (or three times) is a must.
What I Can Share with Hosts
