About Me
Living in Toledo for now! :)
Hi there! ;)
My name is Jaime Gonzalez and I am from Toledo, a city 80 km from Madrid in Spain. I am a really open minded boy who is always ready to share good conversations, different opinions, nice cultural or leisure experiences, trips to new places and of course meeting new people!
I love sports, traveling and sharing new living moments. I deeply believe the best thing of traveling around the world, is the posibility that you have of meeting someone new, knowing a new place or culture, living a great experience and growing as a person expanding your mind.
It would be a pleasure to share anything with you... but of course, if it is ok for you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm part of this community because I think is one of the best choices if you want to know a new country, city, village..etc. Is always better if someone who is living there can show you the places, traditions, meals or activities you may do there. I am always ready for a new experience and there is no better way to do it ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love jazz music, also rock, chill out, hip-hop and electronic. I believe there is a type of music for each time of the day, we do not feel in the same way during the whole day so... Why do we have to enjoy just one type of music? There is a perfect one for each moment! :)
One of my favorite books is "The Alchemist" from Paulo Cohelo. It's always amazing to live your personal legend! :)
And one of my favourites films is "In Pursuit of Happiness" from Will Smith. I recommend it completely.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did paragliding in Nepal after one of the worst earthquakes this world has suffered in 2015. In that experience I had the opportunity of making a volunteer programme working there as a physiotherapist and I also could develop a documental of the experience which is in youtube actually. "Mano a Mano con Nepal 2015" is called. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLpynp7CXKU
just to prove that is true! :) P.S: the documental is in Spanish, sorry about that. I'm still working on the subtitles
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning from everything and from everyone, I think everyone has something to teach you in any field, even if you don't agree with their opinions.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach you:
- some skills in dancing (I dance latino rythms: bachata, salsa and kizomba) and also one or two "street dance" steps (I love it but is quite difficult, I try to improve everyday...:) )
- Spanish, English and a little of French if you want to learn some languages.
- I play the guitar a bit so if you have one, I can teach you some chords or a Spanish song. Or even share some rythms if you know how to play it!
- I could also show you how to do the best Spanish Tortilla! Really typical from my country.
And if you really need it.. you can consult me some muscular problems, lowback pains or doubts you may have to improve it. I am physiotherapist, I could help you with that. P.S: Remember that I am on holidays, I appreciate if you are not so hard on me with this field. ;)
