About Me
Hi everyone! Nice to meet you all!
My name is Jaime. I was born and raised in Brazil. For 27 years I lived in São Paulo, one of the biggest cities in the world. I had a nice job and life there, however, something was missing... So I decided to check this big round ball that we call the world and started searching for international experiences and, by that, I ended up doing a Masters in Europe and staying here after concluding it.
From a city with more than 12 million inhabitants, São Paulo, and a tropical country, Brazil, to a small one called Lodz, with more or less 400k inhabitants and cold as Poland might sound. And you know what? I don't regret it!
Talking about me, I'm a very easy person and very curious about all - no specific field of science or art... literally everything! My hobbies are cooking (yeh, I can prepare Brazilian dishes in any part of the globe) and listening to music. I should also add traveling to this list, but we are already in a travelers community, so I will assume that we all are.
I have visited more than 40 countries and cannot wait to see more. So, how about you, ready to help with it and also to share your experience? Mi casa, su casa, after all.

Music, Movies, and Books
Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso, Peretz, Sholem Alechem, Isaac B. Singer, Moacyr Scliar, Machado de Assis.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Slept in a Beduin tent in the middle of the desert. No external noises, no additional light, no nothing. Just me and the sky full of stars.
Teach, Learn, Share
Now I'm trying to learn pandeiro. It's a very Brazilian sound instrument, but you cannot hold yourself of dancing when it starts to play.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with hosts some nice stories, traditions, and different points of view. Plus, my homemade hummus is awesome!
