Overview
About Me
I'm a 23 year old gay from Denver, CO. This place is my hometown, I'm immensely proud of it, and it's getting a little crowded. Sometimes I've gotta go around and stretch my legs. I'm an eternal scholar, an avid consumer of comic books and nerdy tv shows and movies, and probably more punk rock than you. I'm on this earth to eat food, drink liquor, have great conversations in weird places and somehow never leave college? Alright doctorate, here I come!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couch surfing because sometimes my business (costuming, theatre nonsense, lawn mowing, the works) takes me out of my little ol hometown and I figured I'd give this a shot over expensive hotels.
Interests
I'm usually interested in Netflix marathons, petting dogs, talking incessantly about how smart or stupid my cat is (depending on the day) listening to weird records I find at thrift stores, and making myself necessary to large creative operations. Like in theatre!

Music, Movies, and Books
I worked at a movie theatre after high school and got to see LOTS of movies for free so I can make some pretty good recommendations. I personally love independent and foreign films with a touch of magical realism (pan's labyrinth, Wes Anderson movies, Amelie) but I also love cult classics like Fight Club and Pulp Fiction and weird thrillers and superhero movies. I actually just really love movies.
When it comes to books I'm a fan of classics, biographies, and memoirs of drug addicts. I also like a touch of magical realism in my fiction, and have recently been reading 100 years of solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Baba Yaga by Toby Barlow.
When it comes to music I'm adventurous, I am openly pop-punk trash and I love me some anti-flag and Rancid but I also love LOVE Delta Blues, Bluegrass, Orlean's Jazz, classic rock, trashy pop, Beyoncé, independent hip hop, and post-grunge Rock.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I got out of bed when my alarm went off without hitting snooze.
Teach, Learn, Share
The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, the electoral college is not functional democracy, and once every ten years every cell on your body has been replaced. So if you accidentally touched a spider ten years ago it's okay now because all of your cells have regenerated. That was a different you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook, I'm great at picking out cheap wine that tastes expensive, and I am pretty amazing at basic plumbing, painting, household repair, babysitting, dogs, driving most vehicles, cleaning, soothing over awkward situations, fact/grammar/spell checking documents, playing 7 degrees of Kevin Bacon, cleaning up puke without gagging, setting up wireless routers, cleaning gutters, acquiring things that are hard to find, and solving really obtuse crossword puzzles. Take your pick.
