Hello all,

We are Jaime and Lex and we live right in the center of beautiful Maastricht with our cat, Tikkie. we have just come back from backpacking our way through Australia and New Zealand. Lex is originally from Holland, while I, Jaime, am from South-Africa. We love the experience of traveling and all the great people we have met along the way. Although we have decided to stay in one place for now... we hope to see as much as we can of the world and to meet as many people as we can!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While traveling our best experiences were with all the great people that we met who opened their hearts and homes to us . We love to meet new people and learn from them and their experiences. We also hope that by hosting others we can also meet fellow travelers and exchange stories and experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lex has bungee jumped the Blaukrans Bridge in South Africa.
I have owned my own Safari lodge in Zambia and sky dived in the most beautiful Wanaka, New Zealand.
We are both proud to say that we have circumnavigated (35000km) Australia in a purple Holden commodore called Cornelius!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would love to cook our famous pesto chicken pasta (known and loved by all our hosts on CS so far) and we are more than happy to share our fancy goon with you!
