Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need somewhere to stay. Simply. I'm not gonna bullshit you. Ever.
I want to meet new people and save money. That's all there is to it. Working sucks, having no money sucks (in a postmodern capitalist world). Still beats being a young boy in the Catholic church I guess. But I'd like to meet new people while I do it (couch surfing, not the other thing). Challenge me! Make me think. Make me see something from a different perspective. Convince me that life isn't just banal routine.
I'd also like to get recommendations for cool countries that I never thought of visiting before. A previous couchsurfer has convinced me to go to South Africa with her this summer!!!!

Interests

Without trying to sound 3edgy5u I have lots (yeah, everyone says this, right?)
I'm not much of a writer (or a reader) but I enjoy the old chinwag about politics (my bachelor's degree), psychology (my master's degree), the nature of humanity and what we consider "ethical" (my overactive and underperforming brain).
I'm not vegan and I don't do yoga is what I'm trying to say. Sometimes I wish I did because I think I'd fit in more then! I love nerding out to video games or discovering new, epic metal guitar solos . Not to sound cheeesy, but I am a social introvert but I like meeting new people.

Cartoons. Seriously, I can probably outquote you on any Cartoon Network show. That's not very cool is it? Well I like Dostoyevsky, but I usually don't get to the end as there's too many pages.
